Here's the weekend bets. Probably the highest average odds I think I've seen on the systems in one set of fixtures before. Over 7/2 (4.55) on average this week, so we're definitely into the funny part of the season now.
My ratings are either going to cost me a small fortune over the next few weeks or make a lot of profit I suspect looking at this list of bets.
It was exactly 12 months ago that the wheels came off big time last season. 57 bets in the first Saturday of April 2011 on the established systems, 57 losers. Hopefully this doesn't happen this weekend.

ReplyDeleteRight, to answer your questions quickly:
1). Next season starts at the start of the UK/Euro football season. The system bets will probably not start until 6 games are played but similar to last season, I may give out some bets before the official start of my system bets. We are talking about September then for the real stuff to start.
2). Today was a good day (Alfreton and Bath winning at nice odds) but historically, April has not been a good month. Last April was actually the worst month the systems have ever had. I think you’ve misread what the SBC said in the recent profit report but they were referring to another service that had a great April last year. My systems lost over 100pts last April! Not sure if it’s worth following or not from now. I would say it’s probably better to wait until next season as starting to follow after 6 profitable months in a row is maybe asking for trouble. I hope the systems end the season well though. :)
3). To be clear, there is no free service. For the last two season’s, I’ve chosen to share all bets before the games on this blog. Hence, people could follow the bets for free via the blog but it wasn’t a service so to speak. If people wanted to follow the bets via an email distribution list, they had to subscribe to the service.
The difference between following via the email route and the blog is simply the odds quoted. When I post on the blog, the odds may have moved on some of the bets.
Next season, these systems which have been proofed last season and this season will NOT be available unless people subscribe to the service. I may choose to offer some free bets on the new Euro systems on the blog but then again, I may not. Not sure yet.
What I would say is that although the season won’t start until September, my intention is to offer places to SBC members once the season finishes, offer places to blog followers and then hopefully, this will fill the service to capacity. If not, I’ll keep the service open until it gets full but I would hope I can fill the service next season.
