Midweek

Tonight sees the first bets from the next two TFA systems to go live.

It's been a lot of work to introduce systems 17&18 as doing this piece of analysis takes a fair bit of time and Excel work.

I'll try to post up some analysis at some point of these systems and the long-term ROI but they are very high risk, high return systems, very much like system 16. Of course, you'd expect multiple bet systems to be like this, so it's not too surprising!

Below are my bets for this midweek. I was up late last night placing these as I had computer issues all night but I got there in the end.

Let's hope for a better day than Saturday was!

Inevitable?

If there is one thing I've learnt this season, it has been to always be wary of a losing run being just around the corner.

I don't want to dwell on the losses as it's not the first time I've lost heavily this season and it won't be the last time!

There are some midweek games this week, so I'll be back with my bets for them tonight.

I've also developed system 17 now and it will be going live from this weekend if there are any bets. I've got three more systems to develop now (systems 18-20) and then I'll be set up for the remainder of this season and hopefully for the next few seasons after that if things go to plan!

Quiet Weekend

It feels strange but this is the least I've staked for a long time this season on a Saturday when there has been a full fixture list.

In a way, it's good in the sense that I'm really staking well within my comfort zone but then again, given the run the systems are on, I feel like I'm maybe just preserving profits at the moment!

This weekend all rests on two teams. Swindon and Rotherham. I'll probably make a profit this weekend if either wins but it will be a large loss if both lose. I'm hoping one of them may get a result at least.

Momentum continues.....

Tonight was all about 6 teams for me and thankfully, 4 of the 6 teams won which meant I managed to make a profit again.

I'm trying to ride this wave and not get too caught up thinking about how good a run I'm on at the moment as it can all vanish in an instant as I've seen earlier this season. However, I can't imagine things being much better than this when it comes to gambling, so I should enjoy it while it lasts I think.

I'll be back later in the week with my bets for the weekend.

I can't go without mentioning the fact I'm giving Victor Chandler a bit of a doing at the moment. I try my best to spread my bets and not win too much from one bookie but I've won around £2,000 in a short while from VC, so I think I might try to ease off a little this weekend as I don't want to lose this account at the moment. I might try a multiple bet or something there from system 16 if there is one as if I am going to lose the account, it would be good to go out with a bang!

Great Weekend!

I tend to like updating this place quickly after a good weekend! Saturday will live long in the memory this season although I didn't actually see much of the action unfold as I was out the house on Saturday afternoon. I said on Friday that I had 4 games that would make or break my weekend and 3 of these games took place on Saturday afternoon.

Thankfully for me, Oldham and Carlisle won fairly easily on the day and it was left to West Brom to make it a treble on the day. Thankfully, after being pegged back to 2-2 late on, they managed to sneak a winner in the last 5 minutes and hold on for the victory.

Even more exciting for me was the fact I had these 3 with Stoke and Chelsea in the system 16 multiple bet Amazingly, after being 150pts down about 8 weeks ago, system 16 is now making a profit of 140pts! That's some turn around in a short space of time but it has had 4 correct from 5 twice and Saturday was 5 from 5. Amazing run by the system but not totally surprised given the historical results the system has had. The biggest surprise is the fact that it hit a historical worst run when I started following it but that tends to be the way at times!

The remaining systems also had a good day on Saturday and come Sunday, I was waiting on Aston Villa to make it a dream weekend. I thought they played very well and on another day, they would have won possibly but it wasn't to be.

Overall then, a profit on the weekend bets which is one of the best weekend's of the season for me. Still a long way to go and given the way the season has went, I could still lose overall I reckon but I'd happily settle for a period of consolidation now after this start to 2011. Not sure it will happen though!

Just a quick word on system 16. Going forward, this system will now only play trebles, 4 folds and a 5 fold. I've been wanting to change this for a wee while but didn't want to do it until the system had reached a new peak as I didn't want anyone to think I was changing it to make it better or to stop losses. I see this change as a way to increase profits and hopefully increase the ROI although it will add a little bit of risk to my portfolio.

In the meantime, I'll be back with any midweek bets I have later tonight hopefully.

Weekend Bets

As promised in my earlier post (2 posts in one day on here, I must be quiet at work today!), below are the system bets for this weekend.

The weekend centres on 4 main games I think. If I can hit 2 winners, I won't lose too much for sure and if I can hit 3 or 4 winners, I will make a nice profit I suspect on the week.

If I hit one winner or even the dreaded blank, I'll be in for a costly weekend!
